Head of Knowledge Exchange for NRP 83 elected
The SNSF Research Council has appointed Sibylle Sutter as Head of Knowledge Exchange for NRP 83 ‘Gender Medicine and Health’.
To ensure the exchange between research and practice and to build a community of practice, the Research Council of the SNSF has brought a communications expert on board: Sibylle Sutter takes over as Head of Knowledge Exchange for NRP 83 ‘Gender Medicine and Health’ from November 2024.
Sibylle is a consultant and has been co-owner of the consulting and communications agency advocacy ag since 2021. She has been working in science communication for over a decade. Her strengths lie in the development of interactive foums, the facilitation of workshops, conferences and working groups, and the ability to convey complex topics in an understandable way.
In her new role, Sibylle will be responsible for the public relations work of NRP 83 and will shape its knowledge exchange activities. The focus is on the dialogue between science, politics and society – a key step towards anchoring sex and gender more firmly in health issues. The communication of research results should not only enrich the public debate, but also provide concrete directions for practice.
The National Research Programme NRP 83 ‘Gender Medicine and Health’ aims to create an evidence-based foundation for the consideration of sex and gender in health research, medicine and public health in Switzerland. Research in NRP 83 will start in 2025.
