Call for participation in the GRACE study online survey

The researchers involved in NRP 83 have made a committed and motivated start to their projects. The research team behind the GRACE study (Gender Research Assessment at Committees of Ethics), under the leadership of Angèle Gayet-Ageron from the University of Bern, called for participants for its pilot study at the kick-off event. The survey examines how members of research ethics committees incorporate sex and gender into their research.

Before the official data collection from members of ethics committees begins, the questionnaire will be tested and validated in a pilot phase. Interested parties are invited to participate in the short online survey – this is an important contribution to the preparation of this project.

Call for papers for colloquium on March 20th, 2026 in Geneva

The "Gender and Clinical Practice: an Interdisciplinary Exploration of Clinical Cases" project, led by Joëlle Schwarz, University of Lausanne, has issued a call for papers for the colloquium on March 20th, 2026 at the University of Geneva (CMU): Contributions are sought that address how concepts of sex, gender and intersectionality are understood and communicated in medicine and health disciplines.

The call is intended to promote dialogue between different academic fields – such as medicine, sociology, history and nursing disciplines – and to rethink gender in education and health research.

The call is open to anyone working in the field of health or medical education.
